So i was just sitting here thinking about what i should base my next thread on, and the question of how long you active forum-goers have been here for.
Is it days, months, years?
And what can you tell me about the way the site has changed within that time?

My first account (which was just used to peruse the eggs and not to post in the forums) was way back in 2005. I stopped using that account in 2007 when we could no longer afford to pay for the internet. Then I got my laptop and internet in early 2008 and decided to come back here then. I made this account and has been active (almost daily) ever since.
Its been almost 600 days on this account.

I first joined RE in July of 2005. I’ve had several accounts since then. I think my last one is still here but I could not access it so I just made this one. My reasons for participating in this site, as with any other, are purely no one’s business but my own.
How has the site changed since I first joined? It has not changed much at all, except that I no longer get spammed with death threats from RE members. I imagine that there was some sort of legal issue that made the site admins crack down on stuff like that, or something--but I don’t particularly care.
(Let me hasten to add that I think that’s fine! That’s great! I would rather NOT get death threats from RE members as most of them are minors and it’s illegal to threaten little kids even if they threaten you. "If I have anything to say, I’ll say it with lead" is my new motto regarding people who threaten me.)
