I decided to do some administrative crap for this group. I never haul ass around here, and Clegg, Viper, and my fellow mods have done some nice work keeping this place intact. Kudos!
So yes, "administrative" work you say... I just de-modded a few old peeps who are probably never going to return to this site again. That leaves a spot or two open for whoever wants it bad enough.
It’s simple; if you want to be a mod, you’ve got to "be in it to win it". In this topic, I want you guys to tell me a little about yourselves. Tell me what bands you like, what instruments you play, what drugs you smoke, what your family is like, what concerts you’re planning to see or have seen... just about ANYTHING that you think will make me like you more. Don’t make shit up, I don’t want to be bullshitted, and I can tell when you are. Hell, I may just pick the most boring SOB to be my next mod.
So anyway, I guess there’s really no deadline. I have some major studying to do for school the next two weeks so let’s try to get in all this shit by May 10th. If I suddenly die, the other mods will do my bidding, and they certainly can influence my decision if they wish to speak up.

Viper deleted his account, so I hope you were referring to him back when he was here.
As for myself, well, music is my biggest passion. It’s what I hope to do in life whether I become a Record-producer or I go into it as a Studio Musician or if I’m lucky, I oculd be in a moderately successful band, or a band that is able to keep on moving thanks to a lot of die-hard fans.
As for my music taste, I will listen to anything and go into it as un-biased as I can be. Most people should know just from my attending of and posting about it here (see my last few concert threads) that I atend many concerts every year and I have attended more than most kids my age that live around here. I can specify later on if you’d like to know what bands from what eras I truly enjoy. I like to say I enjoy listening to everything and always expanding my musical horzions.
As for instruments, I play the Tuba in the school band and have been doing so for 6 years. I’ve been playing my drums equally as long, which I decided to take up outside of school. Since I play Tuba (Bass) in school, I was originally going to learn Bass Guitar, but something about a Drumset mezmorized me and my dad just came home with one one day. I also am considering taking Bass Guitar lessons if I buy one this Summer, and I have an Acoustic Guitar which I use for learning chords and basically playing really easy and enjoyable songs. I’m still a terrible guitarist though. I also just finished 2 Music Theory classes (A & B) this year, so I have an insight to the actual "academic" or "scholarly" side of music as well.
As for my family, they grew up as a bunch of music lovers too. I got into the more Punk Rock and Obscure types of music I listen to from my dad, whereas my mom showed me more pop-sensible and Classic Rock stylings.
Finally, I don’t drink or smoke. I consider myself "Straight-Edge". Don’t worry, I don’t preach it, and I absolutely HATE kids that try to push their beliefs on others. I have plenty of friends who do drink and smoke, and they’ve said that they consider me different than most "Straight-Edge" kids, mainly because I’m not judgmental of anyone. In fact, most people that do drink or smoke have more pre-conceived notions about me being a "stick in the mud" because I’m "Straight-Edge". I feel that if you drink or smoke, more power to you. I just don’t have the money to invest in that stuff anyway.
Besides that, I feel I’m a nice guy, I’ve been here for a long time, and I’ve had experience moderating Clegg’s "Wacky World News Group" among some small others, and I moderate the Unofficial RE "Chatango" Chat.
I hope this is a summarizing enough autobiography for you. I look forward to seeing who you choose.

I like rap, rock and country.
basically about now my life motto is fuck it.
I smoke weed and do other drugs as well. i try not to do them alot but i like bars the most. Mostly because they just make you not give a fuck and make life go by a little faster.
i drive a 98 ford escort.
i work at discount tire comp.
I’m a player, even though id really just like a girlfriend that i really liked, but for some reason i dont like any girl that much.
I dont believe in god but have no problem with people that do. In my eyes the world would be fucked if some people didnt believe.
i plan to live way past 150 years old.
i would love to be a mod. I’d say you know me pretty well, or atleast were good friends(over the internet of course)
I grew up a screw up.
im smart as fuck but i dont see a point in having that ability if eventually ill die.
I am and will always be a fair guy.
that is why i should be a mod. now make me a mod. now. lol seriously though.

Id be interested. Im into trance/bit of techno/ drum n bass/ hardcore/ soem rap/ some r&b.
Also any other tune that takes my fancy. What would be involved with modding here?

Most of my life is based from music. I go to underground and national shows as often as i can. I push mosh, throwdown and two step. I normally dont plan to go see shows unless its a band that i really like. Every show i go to has been within a few hours notice whether its lame accoustic emo to brutal ass metal. I go to it. No biases here. Im in music specifically for the good times, success is a second as far as the band goes. Im heading out to milwaulkee to play with several national bands next week. Ill take a picture of all 40 tickets to prove to you that i am playing. I do vocals for my band. Links have been posted around, and i dont feel like it now. I listen to all sorts of music. Rap, rock, metal, country, hardcore, grunge. All sorts of shit. I’ve taken one course in chorus, disliked the teacher so i never went back when the semester finished.
I dont do drugs, they’re lame to me. So is straight edge. Ill have pre-marital sex all day before i smoke.
My family kicked me out of the house cause they dont like the idea of supporting my "rock n’ roll" lifestyle, which they consider to be me working my ass off all week at a car factory and then practicing with the band and playing shows during the weekends. Whatever. They suck.
I’ve never had experience moderating any groups aside from my own, but i dont even pay attention to that because nobody cares about them.
Well, yeah. Thats me.

I agree completely. The only difference is I don’t "throwdown" or "push-mosh" because most of the people I see doing it are scenster fags at "Post-Hardcore" shows that look like douchebags in their favorite Hot Topic bands, and that’s what usually ruins it for me if anything is the crowd. I also agree with your stance on straight-edge. I’m not so strict about it to the point where I won’t have pre-marital sex.
