So I’ve got this friend Josh, hes pretty decent but hasn’t had too much exposure. Just was wondering what you guys at LoM thought of his shit.

Listening to half of one song was enough for me. He has potential. Wants to refrain from long drawn out vocal sounds or get himself a couple of voice lessons focusing on breathing.

The half song I heard, ‘Games’, reminded me of a cut down and very relaxed Tracy Chapman; the early years. I love her early songs; passionate and sung with a need to be heard.

Get your friend Josh a few early Tracy Chapman songs to listen and learn from.
