Screaming into a mic is not talent.
Talking fast is a talent though. You obviously can’t do it. Anyone can scream into a mic about how angst they are and how they’re gonna cut their wrists.
The fastest talker/rapper was on Guiness book of world records. Definite talent.

Some rappers do have talent, just look at their lyrics. But it goes with any genre that there are some non talented people in it.

I can talk fast. Have you ever tried screamo? Its hard to figure out, and really hurts your throat. You know what doesnt? talking fast.

Haha screamo sucks.
All that I’ve heard form it is about killing people or hating stuff.
Yes it does take talent to talk fast, but the way it sounds is not always what make it talented, you have to see past the sounds and into the message.

Into the message?! Are you kidding me?! Everything that i hear from rap, includes: Fucking girls, getting money, drugs, booze...Anything that doesnt really have a good moral message.
And i never said screamo was good, i said it was hard.

Listen to underground rap. Most good rappers make fun of the shit thats on the radio because everyone knows it sucks. Underground rap is always going to be better than mainstream because its harder for them, they grow up on the streets freestyling, and battling other people for respect. They don’t sing about bitches and hoes, they sing about the problems in the world, and real life things that average people can relate to.
Also:
Quote: and really hurts your throat.
You’re doing it wrong.

Quotes from rap
""Kill the white people; we gonna make them hurt; kill the white people; but buy my record first; ha, ha, ha";
"Kill d’White People"; --Apache, Apache Ain’t Shit, 1993, Tommy Boy Music, Time Warner, USA."
Like my niggas from South Central Los Angeles they found that they couldn’t handle us; Bloods, CRIPS, on the same squad, with the Essays up, and nigga, it’s time to rob and mob and break the white man off something lovely";
--"The Day the Niggaz Took Over"; Dr Dre, The Chronic, 1993, Interscope Records, under Time Warner in 1993.
"Swing by on the pale guy. . . . break him in the neck. . . . the guerrilla with the poison tip. . . . shaking pinky up on a dull-ass ice-pick . . . this is Lench Mob. . . . devil, what you want to do; when you see the boot, knew your head is hoohoo ";
--"King of the Jungle"; Da Lench Mob, Planet of da Apes, 1994, Priority Records, Thorn EMI; now called The EMI Group, United Kingdom.

^ That’s why you have to pick and choose from the music you listen to
I mean I love rock, doesn’t mean I’m going to listen to bullshit like Evanescence and Slipknot, all genres have good musicians and bad ones, it’s up to you to filter out the bad ones

This is the truth. I used to not like rap because I thought the same way you guys are, its racist, its full of hate, its all about bitches and hoes, but its not. There are rappers with more talent than to just fill their raps with what mainstream says it should be filled with.

It’s annoying, and the synthesized beat means minimal talent across the "group"

You listen to Three Days Grace. Your argument is instantly nullified. Also, just to be fair, you haven’t listened to any underground rap or good rap because you would realize none of these people speak about the things you just mentioned. Maybe if you weren’t so ignorant and actually listened to it, although you might not like it, you’d be able to respect certain rappers.

I’m glad to see you can copy and paste something from another site to use for an argument. You can argue that those lyrics are hateful, but Dre was just expressing what he felt at the time growing up where he did. He provided social commentary on what was going on at the time. That’s why that’s still a classic album in the rap world. It was an artist that was expressing what a lot of people were feeling and gave people a voice who might not have otherwise had one. That’s what the job of an artist is.

That’s why there are live bands that produce "Rap" music and other forms of it where they have the talent required to play their instruments live.

^ I guarantee you, you haven’t heard any of his good shit then
He’s got more songs than any other artist I know, not ICP but all their music blows. His lyrics can get pretty mainstream but the ones that aren’t are pure genius. He is easily the most talented rapper by far that I have ever heard.
Listen to:
Industry is Punks
Be Warned
This is Me
Little Pills feat. Kabosh
This Ring
Worst Enemy
Come Gangsta (pretty mainstream, not in sound though)
Welcome to the Midwest
Midwest Choppers
His shit is pure genius
Andre Nickatina’s amazing too
Aesop Rock is probably my second favorite "rapper" if you want to call him or them or whatever they are that
