Where did you get that idea? They don’t exist, they are just in the movies.

I was asking for opinions and evidence. I’ve never heard anything scholarly and the point of this was to see if anyone else had. I know some quasi-historical records mention them. I’m 98% sure they don’t.

At the minute i’m not sure whether or not they exist, I have been looking into this for a while and there have been many theories put forth which could explain their existance, when i get a bit more time, i’ll post some of these thoeries.

There are the people who pretend to be vampires, drink each other’s blood, and such garbage, and I hate them with a passion. But as far as the Bram Stoker/Anne Rice/Hellsing type of vampire goes, I bloody hope they exist, because it would make life a lot more fun. Or unlife, whichever you prefer.

Of course they exist. Vampires do not have to be just blood sucking monsters. That is all just a myth. Documents date back to ancient Egypt about Dragula. Not Dracula, Dragula.

Bonesplitter, I haven’t seen either one yet, but I’m trying to get hold of them. They look really cool, and I’ve got a bit of an obsession with vampires.

There’s no doubt in my mind that they do exist. I know a couple. These are very strange people that once you see em, you know they are not just a regular person, and they’re not just pretending to be something they saw in a movie. Just like everything else, there are different types of vampires. They’re not all like "Dracula" or "Lestat". You may know a vampire and just not realize that’s what they are.

That’s a pretty unique way to become a Vampire. I’ve never heard that one before, where’d you get it?
