I’ve posted topics before about the weird shit that goes on in my house (still is happening), if anyone remembers.
Well, prom was saturday, and of course, my doting parents had to take pictures.
What do you guys think of the orb in the background? is it an orb or a camera effect? (there wasnt anything like it in the other pictures, but they were taken a couple hours beofre this one.)

It’s a bit difficult to tell, really. Not to be creepy, but are there other pictures like this you can compare to?

"None with an orb" implies that you have some with something else, doesn’t it?

Guessing it’s dust. Unless you’re house is real clean.
Quote: Dust tends to refract in a perfect circle with little "noise" in it and no border. By this we mean that the orb does not look like a cell under a microscope. Its make-up is pretty much a solid color without a defined border to it.

And just because none of the other pictures had orbs doesn’t refute the claim that this could be dust. It’s just that the light didn’t reflect off the certain pieces of dust in a certain way that would make it appear to be an orb.

Id say that your orb could be just a particle of dust inside the camera,,.
Your outfit is nice.

Orb’s are complete shit. No offense to you or your picture, but there are so many possibilities of stuff it could be before considiring it an orb. And even if it is an orb, that doesn’t mean there’s paranormal activity going on. It’s just a cluster of energy. Spirits draw energy off stuff, so it would make sense, but there’s clusters of energy floating all around you. After awhile, you’ll realize that orbs really aren’t worth getting excited over, especially one like this.
You should probably read this article about orbs.
On the other hand, here’s a couple orb pics of mine.
^Special because it appears to be moving.
That’s not dust because...
Quote: So, the question remains, how do we know when it is dust and when it is a true orb? Dust tends to refract in a perfect circle with little "noise" in it and no border. By this we mean that the orb does not look like a cell under a microscope. Its make-up is pretty much a solid color without a defined border to it.

The hexagonal shape gives it away as a camera trick - dust, light flare etc...

about the orb in the house... orbs can be caused by electric also correct? orbs can vary from dust to something paranormal... have you had any other paranormal expierences in your house? how old is your house? do u kno anything about the previous owners? if you had any other paranormal expierences in your house, find out some history about your house... but it could still just be dust lol
