Scarlett likes to post about this every once in awhile, so i guess its my turn. O.O

As i think ive posted before, ive had dreams before at my maternal grandmother’s house about my grandfather, as if i was five again (the age i was when he died) telling me to be a good girl etc.

until recently, that was the last time i dreamed of anyone deceased, even after my other grandfather passed away when i was eight

my paternal grandmother passed away in january. my father and i held her hands as she died, and i was one of the last people she spoke to. the night she died (she died around four in the afternoon), i naturally had a dream about her, which i can’t remember, but it makes sense since it was fresh on my mind. in the dream she was dead, but it seemed like she was still close and just wanted to be with me/us one more time. it was bright and we were all wearing brightly colored clothing. she was happy.

however. i have had several dreams in months since, when she hadnt really been on my mind. in at least two of these, she was a ghost that returned to the house that could talk to us. in another, she was mad at me for some reason, probably the doll that she had given me that i broke.

one of the most vivid ones was the other night. i dreamed that i had fallen asleep before dinner (like i usually do) and had woken up and gone downstairs, to discover all the lights off, with only some light coming in through the windows, which were shaded. my family was seated around the table, my grandmother sitting by the window- i couldnt see her face since she was facing away from it into the dark, and she spoke to me and my parents, and my mother told me that she was just visiting for awhile.

is it my brain, or is she visiting me?
