I know that ethanol can be added to petrol to boost its octane rating, so how much would be required to make it high enough to be used as lightrer fluid? Another topic a looooooooooong way back said you cant use petrol in zippos coz they have too low an octane rating and it could be dangerous.
I could just buy some but itd be good to know how to make, i have petrol and methylated spirits round the house.
