My friend and I have this hobby, that we go outside in the backyard and we kick the shit out of eachother.. Sounds kinky I know.. We both have this problem though. We don’t want to go all out and kill eachother, so we like to stick with wood for swords, but we always end up breaking them. I found a nice piece of an oak tree that had a curve and was straight (perfect katana shape) and I killed it in a battoujutsu style attack.. Then I went to this oriental store and baught a shinai, but that broke as well... Is there anything anyone can think of that can withstand the force of my attacks or is it time to find an iron pipe?

I take Haidong, a form of sword, so I know how you feel. What I use is a metal sword, but the tips and the blade is dull and curved, so not to do any real damage to a person. They can be baught cheap online from any martial arts store. look under competition swords
