I’m looking for a copy of the Necronomicon. It has to be digital, because even I’m not evil enough to walk around with a book bound in human skin. I currently don’t use any of the major file sharing programs, like Kazaa or KazaaLite, so I’m looking for a Word or Acrobat Reader or Notepad file I can just download from a website. Yeah, and the usual "no viruses and other such crap" limitations apply. Thanks for the help.

Scarlett-9965 said on the Religion and Spirituality Group (hint hint hint) that she has a pdf copy of it, whatever that means. you should ask her.

What is the book about? I’d imagine it’s gotta be pretty badass to be bound in human skin.

If you want a copy of the Necronomicon, I have a PDF file that I’ll be glad to send you.
The Necronomicon is basically a made-up grimoire (book of spells). Lovecraft mentions it a lot because he’s the one who made it up. HOWEVER, it is pretty cool. Let me know if you want a copy-- I already sent Obsidian one and his computer hasn’t crashed, so you know it’s virus free!!

Yeah scarlett sent me one *virus free*. It’s pretty neat. I don’t know if I wanna mess around with that stuff though. I don’t thoroughly understand it.

I know I’m new to this forum, but Scarlet, would it we possible if you could perhaps send me a copy of the necronomicon? It is virus free, right?! Anyway, I would be very thankful for it! I’ve scoured far and wide to come across some sort of valid reference to the book of dead and have been very unsuccessful! Thanks - but only if its possible!

Just to note...
Many copies of the necronomicon exist that are both not on the computer, and not bound in human skin.... The book was not bound in human skin when it went by the title Al Azif or when it was translated by Theodorus Philetas in Constantinople and burned, or Olaus Wormius around 1228... You just have to find the right bookstore and steer clear of anything mentioning H.P Lovecraft...
Donald Tyson does a pretty good paperback, it’s 269 pages, contains a map of Alhazred’s wanderings and is sold commercially.... Of course a better version would require searching for a little while...
