My close friend has been having a weird time.
Basically, his mom left his house and he didnt see her for a few days. He then received a phone call from the police saying they found his mom dead on her parents porch. Most of his family seems to care about the money and he’s been talking to his lawyer lately.
Yeah, that’s sorta all I know, and his mom was depressed and almost 100k in debt.

WOW, im so sorry that you had to be involved with something that ugly.
You right there isnt much we can say here.
I hope your friend will be ok, and like i tell most people who’s friend have experienced a death: stay close to your friend for right now because he will probably need you more now than ever before.
Thats good that hes been talking to his lawyer, and i hope the out come goes in your friends favor.
This sounds like a very complicated (and vague) situation.
We need more details about your friend in order to know how to help you here.

Damn, I’m sorry to hear that man. I just hope something can be done about that debt, that’s fucking steep.

I know that Higgy, Edgar, and Tony all had personal connections with my mom, so I will try to keep everyone up to speed.

Now, here are the facts that I know:
- My mom is dead
- There is some kind of "business" related thing that involves a shit load of money that may have lead to her death.
- It is likely that she committed suicide.
- My brother will be moving to Florida with me dad (not surprising.)
What I don’t know:
- Where they found the body. Reports have said everywhere from North Bend to Tacoma and all the way down to Walla Walla.
- Why the fuck everyone wants to be in on this deal.
- What kind of money we are talking about.
- What to do next.
My next plan of attack is to get me a damn lawyer and not fucking talk to anyone in my family about this. Also to play guitar hero and chill with Emer and try not to fucking tear this house down.

The depression and debt are unconfirmed, but my friend (I’ll leave unnamed) says those were probably the reasons.

WOW....
Im not sure what to say except that i hope your friend will be ok.
I hope he knows that none of this is his fault and that sometimes people (even if they are parents) have major issues and dont always know how to deal with them.
I’m sorry that his mother didnt have someone to talk to about her problems, and im sorry that your friend is now without a mom.
I cant imagine life without my mom or dad even though they are divorced, i hardly see them, and i dont live at my moms anymore.
Like i said before, stay close to your friend and listen to him when he needs someone to talk to.
Thats about all you can do right for him right now.

That totally sucks, your friend sounds like a very level headed person, play some guitar hero with him and help him relax.

Wow, it sounds as if all the responsibility and burden has been placed on your friend. Are his dad and brother helping at all?
Luckily, it sounds like he’s got a good idea of what he needs to do.
Just be there for him, because it sounds like the only people he has left are his friends and his lawyer.

I am really sorry to hear about his lose, and hope that his lawyer can do something about the debt thing. Stay with him, cause right now he needs a good friend.
