Here is the jist of what’s going on, ive liked this girl for a long time probably 5 months, and in the first month i asked her out when she broke up with her boyfriend and at that time she said no cause she didnt want a boyfriend.
Since then i’ve been really scared to ask her out again but we both definately like each other, so on valentines day i drew her name really nice on a box of chocolates and she baked me a tray of cupcakes, and i told myself i was going to ask her out but in reality i was going to wait because i liked how things were going. so later that night i go on myspace, yea yea myspace, so i look at her profile and it says in a relationship.
Now my stomach is turning and im hoping for the best so i call her and say hey when’d you get into a relationship and she explaines how an hour ago one of her ’good friends" asked her out to see if things would work and she said yes. so we talked for a long time after that and i explained how i like her alot and she told me she though t i just wanted to be friends since i waited so long after asking her out the first time..
Now im sitting there thinkning to myself about how we acted together and stuff and im sure it was clear that i like her.. i know the guy just wants to get with her to cack her and leave but i dont want to say anything cause i wouldnt want to get her upset at me. she wants things not to change and she is really emothional about all this right now, for example im sitting next to her in english and she just starts to cry and i had no idea what to do so i just gave her a hug.
basically i have 2 questions
should he get a black eye or a broken nose
and how do i get her?

i know just how you feel man. same thing’s been happening to me for the past year. me and her are just friends..that dreaded phrase...i’ve never made it known that i like her out of fear she would stop being friends with me.
then her boyfriend came along. i told myself i would stick through it, and i did. i was there for her through her asshole boyfriend. i was there before, and now i’m here after. that’s all you can do, is be there for her, because hopefully, eventually, they’ll realize they want the person that’s always been there for them.
seriously..it’s worked twice for me so far.

thats what i try to do, i guess its all i can do right now, cause i dont want to make her break up for me cause whats to say she wont do that to me for some other guy? i always try and tell her she can tell me anything and if she has any problems to come to me, im just impacient and i want her now, and to know if i woulda been a man and taken care of buisness i would have her just hurts so much

Just be there for her and talk to her as much as possible so that she will consider you close to her. if the guy really is an asshole, hopefully she’s strong enough that she would realize it and dump his ass. I wouldnt trash talk him at all-- wait until she talks to you about it and make the focus on her-- i.e. instead of "he is such an asshole i’ll break his nose for you" you should say, "youre a beautiful girl with a lot of potential who deserves someone way better than him."

Hey Mina!!!! DAMNNNN women!!! its been a while!!! haha
Yeah just try to be there for her, im sure she hasnt forgotten that you asked her out ages ago. So she knows you have feelings for her.
Its ether that or she doesnt like you llike that and being friends is the only way she knows how to handle not wanting to be with someone she doesnt like.
Thats the honest to god truth, at least from my point of view.
If your sure that she likes you then stick it through unless another girl comes along that likes you and WANTS to be with you in that way.
Then its on her for not going out with you when she had the chance.

i appreciate the feedback everyone, it raelly has helped, im just gonna make sure she knows im there for her and if she ends up working out with her new bf then i guess theres nothign i can do
