Aight I bet no ones heard of them, but might as well post a topic.

So if any of you have heard of Mindless Self Indulgence, you’ll know thier random quite awesome sort of beat they tend to have. Well Skith = Metal version of MSI with GWAR type lyrics. Pretty fuckin awesome if you ask me... Mostly jazz infulenced they’re a good band and if you like metal in general check em out.

Now Fantomas, theres a band no one has probably heard of. Though it does have Slayers drummer Lombardo, and Mike Patton as the lyricist. Really Mike can do any tone in the entire world from bass to a tenor to breaking a fucking glass death metal screams.

Their albums are completly abstract and revolve around odd things.. for example the album Delerium Cordia is a 74 minutes continous song about surgery without anesthesia, and while another album each song title is a day in the month of april. If you look at all their albums they’re all like that. Now to the music... its extremely heavy in some parts, while melodic in others. On certain albums not one song sounds any like the other and its a complete grab bag of sounds and genres with the main focus on thrash type metal. Excellent vocals from Patton everytime. They also did a collab with The Melvins and made a cd which isn’t too bad either. While their music isn’t what most people would think of as a traditional song, its still great music nonetheless. I’ll upload a couple songs to my server in a bit and post the links so you can download them as a sample.

I heard them and didn’t like them very much. And I don’t like MSI at all.
