Well last year started with my parents announcing they were getting divorced. My dad gave mum $150 000 to go somewhere else.

So then we go on our yearly trip to Queensland, I got to see my granddad and his "lady friend" once at the club they always go to. He had been drinking all his life and started having memory problems and stuff a few years ago. The day after meeting with them dad gets a call and says he is in hospital for some reason.

Before we had to come back from QL dad visited him a few times but we could never go. He said the had a tube up his... well not his arse (yes ouch) and blood and stuff was continually coming out for days.

The day we got back I was playing the PS2 in my room and my sis comes up and says he died.

3 weeks later and I’m playing the PS2 on a school night when I shouldn’t have been. Dad comes up and I think he’s going to kick me off.
But he says "I think you will turn it off anyway when you hear whats happened"
me "what"
Dad "Your mum’s dad died as well".

He died on his "lady friends" birthday. (I say lady friend because both grandparents got divorced and found somebody else who they lived with but didn’t marry).
Because it was her birthday they had had a quiet day at home together and didn’t get to finish the 007 movie they started watching. My granddad was a huge fan of them and had every single one.
In the early morning my step-grand mom (whatever you want to say) got up to go to the toilet and he was awake. But when she got back he had died of a heart attack.

So now I’m sitting on the floor in my room in mums house because I don’t have a table for my pc.
I don’t really want sympathy or anything i just wanted to say that. And i hope nobody else has had or will have a year like that.

I feel sorry for you. Some stuff like that happened to me. A whole bunch of my family members died within a short amount of time...
