I made it for my band all myself. The stuff in the background was made with a few filters, but thats because im at a school computer with no cool brushpacks. All brushing was default, some smudging, crosshatching filters and others. I drew the logo myself and scanned it to a school comp.
Any suggestions? I know the colors seem a little bland, but thats how i wanted it. :)

I like the ghostie face in the R
Neat lettering, but I dont like the coloring.

tight man grindcore is the shit. im in a grindcore/death metal/hardcore band. you should just get rid of all that green and make the lettering just white like a lot of other bands do. you did a good job on that i just think the green smears and letters make it look like diarhea.

Kinda looks like some one spewed on a page...i think you should change the letter coloring..maybe to black or white

I finished on the different version of the logo(new colors) and started on another one for a friend.
This one says Jake Lindsay.

I like the second Corcid logo much better.
I’ll send it to you later on Myspace, Im kinda busy drinking right now.
The lettering seems to be kinda biting off of Cannibal Corpse but oh well, I still think it looks cool.

I reckon the lettering looks weird because it has no texture yet the rest has lots of texture, it would be cool if the text was like bubbling feces or something gross.

Haha. Theres a tutorial on how to make things look like intestines, and its pretty convincing. Ill give that a shot.
