Today I decided I would make an incense burner. I just went to the craft store and got some clay and sculpting tools. I have never worked with clay before, I just thought it would be fun, plus now I have some extra clay to make a nice bowl with. :sleepy:
This thing is gonna be so awesome once I paint it.
I probably coulda put more time into the gills, but oh well, too late now.
Here’s the base...
The bottom of the mushroom...
Like I said before, I still gotta paint it. I’ll be sure to post pics of it painted as soon as I get some green acrylic for the base.

I was actually just thinking of having a gnome with a pipe leaning against the shroom. Then I’d run a vent through the pipe so smoke would come out of it.

I’ve always wanted to fuck around with some clay, looks like mad fun.
Do you have to throw that shit in the oven or some shit so it cures?

This is the first thing I’ve seen in this forum that aint a pic of some kind(Ps or photography),it makes me think of posting the shit I made in prison out of cigarette papers,I think I’ll post them tomorow...

When I get some paint I’ll paint it, haha.
You have to throw it in the oven for 15 minutes so it will cure, it’s so easy. Clay is pretty fun.

I have some marblex air dry clay, about 25 pounds of it, and I think you only have to fire it to glaze it.

I still haven’t painted it yet. See a pattern? It’s probably the last thing on my list of things to do right now. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when I paint it, I’ll get to it some time.

I made a pretty nice mushroom incense burner aswell.. it’s brass, started off as a mold though.
I like your’s way more :)
