Swedish dad’s goal to produce breast milk
Swedish father Ragnar Bengtsson, 26, has entered into an experiment that he hopes will help him breastfeed his future children.
On Tuesday, the Stockholm family man began stimulating his breasts with a pump in a bid to produce milk.
"Anything that doesn’t do any harm is worth trying out. And if it works it could prove very important for men’s ability to get much closer to their children at an early stage," Bengtsson told The Local.
His efforts are to be documented by Swedish TV8, with the first instalment scheduled to air at 9pm on Wednesday on the Aschberg show. Bengtsson also maintains a blog on the station’s website, the title of which translates as: ’The Milkman - One Drop at a Time’...

What kids wants to suck on their dads nipples?
If the hole experiment is trying to suck milk from his nipple then its not that grand a experiment. dont even know how titty milk and all that works.

That’s just not right. I don’t know if a man can produce milk but I think it’d have a different composition from woman’s breast milk.

Men’s and women’s breasts have pretty much all the same stuff in them, just in different amounts. Theoretically a man could produce milk (although the idea makes me want to gag big-time) if he had the right combinations of chemicals in him, just as transsexuals who take female hormones can grow breasts. Whether the milk would be the same as a female’s milk I couldn’t say.
I would think that men would be GLAD they didn’t have to deal with all that crap. I can’t understand why someone who didn’t have to deal with it would want to, but oh well.
(It reminds me of the one episode of South Park where Mr. Garrison is in the store after his sex change buying tampons because he thinks he’s going to start having periods...) :S

I’m stunned to think that it hasn’t been tried before if it’s possible and if it’s impossible why are people in Sweden wasting their time on it? They must be feeding the guy pregnancy hormones. There HAS to be some dude that gave himself pregnancy hormones before. I’m afraid I must call bullshit on this one. Prove me wrong, creepy interwebz stories.
