Sorry for the double post and all, but I found this pic shortly after making this.
It may be a tad large, but it’s worth it.

Have you tried a paper clip yet?
Perhaps bending the paper clip into a 90 degree angle and sticking it down from the wheel’s end. Use the picture I posted.

If its rust you can take like a propane torch and burn it off. Then use the paper clip and push it down.

no^ you have 5 options, 1, remove the spark wheel 2. pull on the wheel so you can slide a razor blade in to push the flint out. 3. use nail care scissors to do what i just said. 4 using really small tweezers, pull the flint out. 5. RISKY!!! find an old piece of wood and slide the wheel on the wood with great force and speed. the flint should shoot out (watched my friend do it).

Wtf dewd^ If its rust then you could just burn it off. Thats what i did when i lost mine in water for like a week. You have What, 2 zippos? Ive been collecting zippos since 1999. Most of em were lost when we moved.

Hey. I use Zippo for few weeks, but now is opening of lid weak. When it was new, lid opening was strong but now it can open nearly itself in my pocket. I tried to bend back cam spring but nothing happened because I cant bend it just there where cam spring is. Dissasembly is not possible, you cant put rivets back in normal condition. So, how? Plz help

How to Refill a Zippo
STEP 1: Make sure the lighter is cool.
STEP 2: Flip open the lighter’s top.
STEP 3: Grasp the flint wheel (the area where the flame appears) with two fingers.
STEP 4: Hold the narrower sides of the case with the other hand.
STEP 5: Slide the inner case out of the outside case. There’s a felt pad inside of this case.
STEP 6: Turn the inner case over so that the felt pad is facing up.
STEP 7: Saturate the pad with lighter fluid, but not to the point of dripping.
STEP 8: Keep the lighter inverted and put the inside case back into the outside case.
STEP 9: Make sure the small trigger on the top faces toward the hinge in the bottom.
STEP 10: Flip the lighter closed.
STEP 11: Test the lighter. It may take a few tries.
Tips & Warnings
Dry the lighter and wash your hands before lighting it.

How to Replace the Flint in a Zippo
STEP 1: Flip open the lighter’s top.
STEP 2: Grasp the flint wheel (the area where the flame appears) with two fingers.
STEP 3: Hold the narrow sides of the case with your other hand.
STEP 4: Slide the inner case out of the outside case.
STEP 5: Remove the screw on the bottom of the inner case.
STEP 6: Pull out the flint spring.
STEP 7: Take the old flint out of the spring tip and insert the new flint.
STEP 8: Replace the spring in the flint tube.
STEP 9: Turn the screw as far as it will go or you won’t be able to close the lid.
STEP 10: Tighten the screw, but not too much. You don’t want to have to wrench on it the next time a flint needs to be changed.
STEP 11: Put the inside case back into the outside case.
STEP 12: Make sure the small trigger on the top faces toward the hinge in the bottom.
STEP 13: Flip the lighter closed.
Tips & Warnings
If the flint wheel sticks, roll it backward a couple of times and try lighting it again.
