Anyways i was trying to say that ive been contemplating buying some orchids but i dont know how well they will take off in an indoor low uv light setting?

ive got no windows to set them near so that means no direct sunlight.

Hm i have not much experiences wit orchids, but i have 4 Phalaenopsiis, they are doing ist very good on a window. I think orchids are very sun loving plants, of course no direct sunlight.

Orchids are normally growing on treetops.
If you dont have a Window to put them behind it, then you better not buy one. But it wouldnt even that bad idea to test it with a lamp, for that reason, buy the cheapest one.
