In trigonometery, I used to have a hard time remembering these
sin= opposite/hypotenuse
cos=adjacent/hypotenuse
tan=opposite/adjacent
Then, my geometry teacher taught me a little trick:
SOHCAHTOA (pronounced so-cuh-tow-uh)
S(ine)O(opposite)H(ypotenuse)C(osine)A(djacent)H(ypotenuse)T(angent)O(pposite)A(djacent)
Just remember that word, and your troubles are over.

i wish i was never taught that cause u get dependent on it
it’s much faster to just know it withouth the mnemonic
