Someone made a shitty egg for beginner pickpockets, if you really want to start pickpocketing, I would start at the movie theater. Evertime the movie ends everyone crowds up at the exit to leave, and their asses are tired and numb from sitting for 3 hours. And the last thing they are thinking of is being pickpocketed, its unheard of at a theater, it is usually suspected in large open crowds, the mall, and retail stores. This is a good way to start because the marks will all be distracted talking about the movie they just watched, their asses will be tired, its in a crowded area, and its dark so the people around you won’t see you lifting ;). Another advantage to starting this way is that if you successfully lift the wallet, the mark will assume it fell out of his pocket while he was sitting down at the movie, and that pretty much guarantees your window of escape.
When someone tells me they are to nervous and their hands fumble when they go for the wallet, I tell them to practice by ass grabbing. I tell them that the next time they are with their girlfriend, put their hand on their ass but do it really lightly, and practice learning how their ass moves when they walk. You gotta learn how to follow the movement of their pocket if you want to be a good pickpocket, otherwise the wallet will snag on the way out. My friend started doing this and got so good at it that on his high school graduation, he has his hand on the GUYS ass in front of him all the way up to the stage lol! The guy had no idea, but everyone was asking why he was doing it when they noticed it on their videos. He’s a good lifter now, but I think practicing on a guys ass is a little gay.
I did my first purse at an airport, I noticed that all the chicks keep their boarding passes in their purses, and when the do the boarding call, the girls open their purses and take the pass out. A LOT of women leave their purses open until they are seated. Anyways, once I got behind the chick in front of me and I was just getting in the plane, it started lining up because everyone was getting seated and putting their luggage up. I had never done a purse before, but I just noticed, man this chick has it wide open. I decided to take it and she had no idea for the whole 3 hour flight!
If your hands aren’t as nimble as they used to be (fighting makes them clumsy) you can use a wire like I do. I dip an angled pick (from a four-pack at walmart for $4.96) into the wallet and pull the wallet out without them feeling a thing. My former partner used to do a variation on this:
She would stand behind someone in a line or crowd and move her purse in front of her and start fumbling through it. She’d walk with the crowd/line for a while, just to lose attention if any had been attracted. Then she would take out her sunglasses and dip the slim earpiece into the wallet and hook it, and drop it into her purse. If the guy felt something, it was here bumping into him while following the line and not some weird pickpocketing technique. That’s how I met her, too. Honestly the coolest chick I ever met.
