Post your top recommended PS3 games, mine are:
Call of duty 4: modern warfare
Its a great shooter one of the best, no vehicles but is definitely a great game. A must have.
Army of two
Just brilliant in my opinion better that call of duty, its the best PS3 game I have, the whole game is based on teamwork and cooperative play. There is a great storyline along with amazing graphics, the game can be played cooperatively with another controller or over the PSN this works for both campaign and multi player. A must have.
Unreal tournament 3
A run and gun style shoot em up with loads of vehicles and a good arsenal of weapons, the downside is that the campaign is just like online mode basically "get 10 kills to win" and some game types can be confusing.
Turok
Turok offers a completely different type of storyline featuring dinosaurs and other types of monsters, Turok has a good storyline that can get frustrating in areas. Online mode lets Turok down by having massive lag problems that seem to effect almost everybody, you fire then gun and 3 seconds later the bullet emerges.
Burnout paradise
Free roaming at its finest, burnout is the best racing game I have played the online mode is brilliant making the most of the headset and usb cameras capabilities. A must have.

Get the Orange Box. It’s Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2, and without all that Steam DRM bullshit. The only downside is the long loading times, but it is definitely worth the wait. Team Fortress 2 IMO is the best multiplayer game there is.
If you’re looking for an RPG, get Oblivion. I’ve spent about 4 or 5 months on this game and I still haven’t finished it. It’s a REAL long term commitment. The only downside about oblivion is that some of the quests are buggy, but there are workarounds and a metric fucktonne of guides at http://www.uesp.net/
