There is a way to tell early on. Google it, I haven’t grown in a hella long time but it has to do with the colors of the hair-like things where the stems sprout they’re either orangeish or white and I forgot which one is female.
But with tips, make sure you give it good room temperature water with no chemicals. If you’re using tap water let it sit out with out a lid for at least 24 hours to evaporate all the chemicals. Then it will already be at room temperature as well, not to shock the plant. But you’ll want to put it into a bigger pot here in the next couple of weeks, marijuana roots love oxygen. something about 3-5 gallons is perfect. And for the right time to harvest, get a magnifying glass and when thc "caps" are looking milky white, that’s when you want to cut. If they’ve turned to a brown color it’s too late. And when you dry it’s smart to do it in a dark area, just hang the buds upside down, and away from anywhere with a lot of bugs, and you should be fine.

dont say that. you can still get some bomb bud if you do it right.
i used to grow alot so if you have any questions at all ask me. i like talking about weed lol.
also, you should start a thread about your grow and list every aspect of it. as well as keep us up to date with info and pictures all the way until harvest. in fact ill go and add a forum thingy just for it.
are you growing inside or outside?

the bottom of the pot has holes in it and I chucked in a few rocks to stop soil falling out
