I’m just curious because I saw this one retro/nerdy one and would like to know how to make one

Yeah but it would make a badass bong.
Plus I’ve got two controllers at my house and don’y have anything to do with them

looks like he’s using an instrument mouthpiece (probably a french horn by the looks of the kid) as the bowl.
As for bong making, all you need is a tube, 2 holes, and something to make a bowl...they can be made out of pretty much anything...but finding a good material (not plastic) can be a bit tricky.

it looks like a trumpet or maybe a mellophone mouth piece.
