If your egg has been dropped (but not deleted) it could be selected to spotlight in this group. While it won’t be searchable through the egg directory, you can get extra points by members who like it.

I’m sorry. I don’t know. I didn’t drop it. Maybe filthy did? He would have to answer for sure. My best guess would be fuses can be used in bombs. Dodge’s rule page says fireworks are exempt. So, I don’t see a problem with it.
As compensation for an unjustly dropped egg, I say you should be able to repost. That will give you double the point value since it will be used twice. Just state in the egg it is a repost and why. Furthermore, I just fived it for you. Hopefully, that will make up for some missed votes as my fives are now worth 370 points.

I’m simply trying to raise the quality of what I see here.
this place has potential yet trolls and power mad high level users are upsetting a balance, That balance is the ability for quality posts to make an impact on the shit that makes it through to the egg directory.
to punish an opinion I had is directly contradicting to what I’m sure you would like to see in this matter.
And as I said in the egg... I choose not to block users. I believe in freedom of expression...which I have been attacked for. Kindly remove his vote from my latest egg.
and as it has been said many times before...the internet is serious business.

There is no mechanism to remove votes, and all members are able to vote as they wish, good or bad. Even banned members still have the ability to vote.
If you believe in freedom of expression you must also believe in his ability to do the same, you can’t have it both ways. It would be hypocritical of you to punish his opinion because it doesn’t agree with yours.

Just a small bit of unsolicited old lady advice here... you will find assholes everywhere. They exist everywhere (work, school, the internet, church, in your underpants etc) and we can’t wipe them away no matter the brand of toilet paper we buy.
Besides, HA isn’t that high of a level and many members will vote the opposite of him just because they hate him. I love it when he downrates my eggs. More high votes for me from HA haters!! Woo Hoo! Doomed is the day he likes my eggs and five stars them. hahaha.

And to continue what I hope is a debate culminating in changes in regards to trolling eggs, his ability to strike at me with impunity is downright intolerable It, simply put is NOT freedom of expression it is freedom of attack. There must be a system in place to prevent opinion and idealogical differences from destroying the already declining state of rotteneggs. You cannot allow members to destroy or circumvent a system in place to allow only that which they deem fit to pass.
for a moderator to prevent my egg from passing simply from an objection to my opinion is the very antithesis of what a moderator is obligated to do...MODERATE!

You think the moderators more powers than they posses. The moderators cannot deem your egg worthy for acceptance into the egg directory as that happens automatically, nor can they change the way a member votes for obvious reasons.

And they (moderators) ARE able to utilize their VOTING power to deem which eggs are "worthy" enough.
As i understand it, the eggs are accepted upon a rank level and are dropped either by content or low rank.............
or an angry moderator corrupting the rank votes by casting theirs not on merit but on bias.

You do realize the more fuss you make the more members are going to rate your shit into oblivion just for the lulz of it?
Tell me, have you found a website that would allow you to post the the things you do where no one would have an opposing view? Well this isn’t it.
You’re taking it way too seriously. This isn’t real life, it’s a web site. If it shut down tomorrow you might be sad, but it wouldn’t kill you. There would still be real life to the left and right of your monitor.
Oh, and you too can rate things, collect points and level yourself up to a high ranking member and rate everything a 5*s to even it out, K?

Yes in fact I am a member of MANY other pyrotechnics sites including the E&W forum.
the matter remains though that this site currently encourages kids to do things that provide ammunition to many government lobbyists to ban the things we all enjoy... I’m trying to change that by providing information and locations of learning materials to promote the responsible use of pyrotechnics. I am being attacked my a moderator for a comment I made and that directly impedes my goals here.
and as it seems you cannot infer from what I have typed, it is not that he "hates" my material... it’s that he takes offense to an opinion I had and consequently took advantage of his power to "punish" me. Do you agree with a moderator punishing a member who contributes?
