i posted an egg only a few hours ago
and it was doing good 5.0 rating at 12 votes
but 1 vote later it was .5 rating? how the hell?
i dont know if the first votes were low and didnt register yet or what??

Yeah if a level 40 (for example) rates your egg a 0 it probably will drop from 5 to a a very low rating. I actually just rated it a 3* so maybe that’ll help.

In the same way can an egg with low rating go to high rating from a high lvl vote?

Yep. Look at it this way:
A level one vote counts as a +1. A level 2, +2. Level 25, +25.
So, if a level 10 votes your Egg 0*, then a level 20 votes it 5*, after those two votes, your rating would be 3 and a third stars. It would be as if 10 level 1s voted 0*, and 20 level 1s voted 5*. It’s called ’weighted’ voting.
