I dont know if phishing eggs are "legal" on this site, but i was going to make one myself and decided against it. I just say try it and see what will happen.

As for the phishing Egg... I think it depends on how it’s worded. I’d have to talk it over with The_Gimp.

What is already in the directory is not the measure of what is allowed now.
The rules have changed and even though eggs of the past will be preserved they will not dictate the future through precedent.

Wouldn’t it stand to reason that any public forum has rules to what can be posted and what can not?
I find it hard to believe that you have been here since March of ’06 and you still don’t know the rules or know how or where to find them. There has been ample discussion of them in numerous forums. I can’t see how you could have missed it.

Most other submission-based forums would have deleted all the old stuff that doesn’t conform to the new rules. RE has somewhat of a ’’grandfather clause’’... RottenEggs is cool like that.

Well, wmouldn’t it ne great if all the members cared enough to read the rules, in depth. You shouldn’t have to force feed them to anyone. There really isn’t that much content that can’t be posted here, so it’s plain laziness that causes the ignorance.

I would think if someone was showing people how to AVOID being phished by showing us the tricks used, it may fly. The final word is that of the admins, though. I would ask them.
