I’ve seen many members try to explain to those that ask, how to write the HTML Tags that work here on the forums of RottenEggs.
It order for the Tags to show up as text you usually have to put in an incorrect character such as a * (star) in the Tag so when you send them to someone they will still be visible as text to the person you are trying to explain the Tags to.
I’ve figured a way to show the tags as regular text and NOT add any additional characters so they won’t confuse those who wouldn’t know any better because they’ve never seen them before.
Here are some of the tags used on RottenEggs and what they do.
I hope this makes it easier to understand Tags and makes learning and memorizing them a breeze.

This is the tag for making words have Bold Text:
[b]Text[/b]
This is the tag for making words have Italics:
[i]Text[/i]
This is the tag for making words Underlined:
[u]Text[/u]
This is the tag for making a
[quote]Text[/quote]
This is the tag for giving text a Color
[color=red]Text[/color]
The color options are:
Dark Red, Red, Orange, Brown, Yellow, Green, Olive, Cyan, Blue, Dark Blue, Indigo, Violet, White and Black.
This is the tag that will change the Text Size:
[size=3]Text[/size]
The size options are: 1,2,3,4,5 and 10.
This is the tag for making
show up in a post:
[img]Picture URL[/img]
This is the tag for making a Click-able URL Hyperlink:
[url]URL Text[/url]

How come? They are about two different things.
Coopz explains how to do the links, but mine is to explain how to WRITE the links and send them to others to explain them without extra characters, which for some ends up being confusing.

This is the tag for making a Click Here link:
[url=http://url]Click Here[/url]
Just replace the " http://url " with whatever website you want the link to go to.
