Quote: Operation in residential area might cause unacceptable interference to radio and satellite? Do all monitors say this?
To one effect or another...
Pentium, insurance will only give you what they feel it’s valued at, given the age of the monitor, it won’t be much...
And I highly doubt you’ll be able to find another one...

I have a spare monitor sitting in a closet in Ann Arbor but it’s so dim that the thing is only good as a spare case after you remove the tube.
On another note...Photo time!

The worlds first internet browser was made on a NeXT Cube.
If it was not for this system, the internet as we know it would not exist and all the sites we have come to love (4chan, RE, ebay, youtube, google, meatspin etc.) would probably not exist.
Doom was also developed on a Cube.
As for when will the rest arrive?
Guess what..It’s here!
The first moments...
She’s out! (and really dirty!)
The next thing I did was strip the system down and clean everything.
Better.
The rest will speak for themselves.

Have you found out how FedEx is going to compensate you for the damage?
I got sent a box of cookies from my grandmother, through FedEx... I ended up getting a box of crumbs! =’(

Well because the monitor works I’ll let Fedex off this time but this is the last time I ever use FedEx.
As for the thing coming online, just let me replace the hard drive, upgrade the ram and find a scsi floppy drive. I can’t boot from the install cd unless it first reads from a boot floppy.

Out with the old and in with the new(er)
She’s now got her ram maxed out at 64Mb and I just finished installing the new hard drive.
