when we say dual boot, we mean have both linux and XP... follow the instructions given by ct...

i dual boot, but linux is my primary operating system... btw, if you don’t know how to partition, or what dual booting is, you really have no business installing linux... linux is more complicated than windows... but i still prefer it

theres a good guide on dual booting ubuntu and vista. google it, its the first one (i think) that comes up.
