Quote: i like alot of 80 music though cause, thats what my mom raised me on. = )
My parents grew up in the 70’s, so that’s what I was raised on, moreso 70’s Punk thanks to my dad, but my mom was a fan of 80’s Arena Rock and Hair Metal bands, so I’ve developed a liking of some of them.

Green Day, Screaming Trees (music could have even been from late 80’s), AiC, Nirvana, alot of stuff defined the 90s for me.

Anything hair metal and a few other randoms. I’m stuck in the 80s n 90s, I hate most modern shit.
Surprised none of the hardcore hairs here mentioned Anthrax.

They were more of a 80’s band along with most of the other bands with the same sound.

Hell yeah. I spun that cd daily, and I used to think that song was genius.
You listened to them growing up in the 90’s? How old are you? Their shit rocks though. I just got into them in the past few years.
I enjoyed myself Green Day, R.E.M. (due to my dad consistently playing them), Tom Petty when I was first born and at a really young age I remember, and a few others I’m trying to remember.

I agree. In my opinion, I still think Grunge is over-rated, and I hate Nirvana.

Rush owns the Prog-Rock genre, but I’m talking bands strictly from the 90’s.

My older sister raised me on NoFX, Guttermouth, Greenday, Pennywise, Suicidal Tendencies, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Greenday is the only one I don’t listen to anymore.
