Too bad that Kaing is a tribute to a leader in the Khmer Rouge, which is communist and my political views.
Quote: So what do you listen to?
I listen to a variety of diffrent genres but mostly alot of the older punk such as Minor Threat,The Mongoloids,Dead Kennedys,Fugazi before all these "trendy/shitty" metalcore and hardcore bands.Im willing to bet that you haven’t taken a good listen to the roots of where those bands emerged from.
If you want to listen to music, take a listen to In on the Kill Taker by Fugazi.
Quote: But you’re Black? How are you against ebonics?
Because I personally think that speaking as such will be detrimental to your ability to learn and express yourself while looking like a 7th grader. It’s sad to see you make generalizations about ethnic groups without acknowledging each person for being human.

I was making a joke to be a sarcastic asshole. I thought that -BC- had a good point about the mispelling of the word "Kaing" until you said...

Quote: I do think it’s funny that RK can’t even compare 2 bands within a same genre to another, and then call them all gay. It shows his musical opinion is void as you stated on so many levels. I do enjoy that he used "ignorant" in the worst context i’ve ever seen.
Quote: -BC-, you are a faggot and when the deathcore fad dies I will laugh as your band becomes irrelevant.
Oh ouch. Deathcore has already died. Incase you havent noticed, straight edge and "hardcore" is the new trend.
great comeback tho.

You know what? You’re right. I dont listen to emo bands like Fugazi. Infact, i’ve never really been fond of punk. I’ve only gotten into so much of the hardcore punk bands and "trendy" bands because i enjoy the beats and sounds that the intruments make. I also normally dont go diving into history of music that i dont listen too. I think this is a good example; why stick up and learn about music you dont listen too when you have your own to defend?
Look, bro. Im sorry i dont listen to the same shitty chord progression of every punk band and its subgenre. Sorry i didnt spread my tastes out across the galaxy and enjoy the same skank beats over and over again about how government sucks and all i wanna do is get drunk and skate and lets over throw this and that. Fuck everybody who doesnt shave their heads into mohawks and wear tighter clothes.
Infact, i think i’ve got a pretty colorful taste of music.
You know what? I dont think you know shit about music because you dont know shit about metal except maybe "metal bands make lots of noise lol". I dont think you know shit about music because "you dont know a specific minor band that i listen to and its roots". I dont think you know much about anything because you’re on rotten eggs telling other people they dont know about music.

We did it ourselves. We got this sweet program called Cubase that came with a Firepod. Basically, what it does is takes every mic attached to the pod and makes it its own separate channel, which makes recording drums tons easier to do.

The vocals are too high in the mix in the "NEW CD PREVIEW." If that is in fact the final mix, I would probably want to completely restart. The song "Crimson Tide" had a much better (warmer) production, and had more of a full, bassy sound. The preview sounds weak as fuck in comparison.

tak about bass guitar all you want. you havent been in the recording business, and wouldnt know how difficult it is to record more extreme music without ruining the general recording.
oh, so they’re just in it for the money? fugazi have been out for how long and still arent a household name in music, but they keep trying? dude all fugazi are is just a bunch of emo kids that dont want to work like regular people so they keep writing half assed music to get them by. just enough to sell records, and just enough to keep from having to tie in with a job application.

I know that your band can’t mix a fucking song.
By the way, Whitechapel suck. They have three guitarists for something I can play by myself.

"The band maintains a policy of affordable access to their work through low record and ticket prices and all concerts are all-ages.Fugazi is currently on an indefinite hiatus as they tend to young families and other musical projects. "
I bet they are so afraid of working that they take there own time to give back to their communities.

You know who makes all ages things? Movie directors and cereal and candy companies. Of course kids who cant get a job because they are too young to get a job are going to tug at their mothers dress to get them that Shrek candy that just came out, or the cereal that has the flashy Spongebob characters all over that know is sweet and not so nutritious for them and THEN ask their parents for 10-15 dollars to go see a mediocre band that more people obviously dont remember.
