Go ahead, but theres still ALOT of HotSpots within about 100-250 meters...you could be fine in one spot, then take a few steps and be massively contaminated.

either way its mostly safe, most of the radiation is in the reactor or underground after 22 years. Though the ground is contaminated for another 500-700 years.
