paintballuh: Dude, are you for real? I understand that we can’t understand everything that is fed to us from the mass media. However I have a personal source on global warming. My dad wrote his masters thesis on Global Warming IN 1990. I’ve read it. The facts were undeniable. They are even more so now. The earths temperature is rising, and it is rising faster and more than ever before in the history of this planet. I was also in Alaska in 2001. We returned in 2006. The change in snow coverage was absolutely stunning. Although I understand their are variables with snow fall and what not, entire mountain tops were just gone. This shit is REAL. Also, what the fuck are you talking about with Co2? Duh, it’s been here since the start of time. You obviously don’t know JACK SHIT about science, in fact its pretty unbelievable that the public education has failed you so much. Apparently you don’t know that co2 can be easily added to this earth. Which is quite sad. But moving on. I’m not a Democrat. In fact its amusing that you automatically assume I am, simply because that’s what you’ve seen in the media. Liberals and Democrats trying to save your ass. Even more ironic is that this makes you a child of the media, which you are so inaptly accuseing me to be. Way to go, dumbass.

I hope when global warming gets really shitty, that I can move to Mars for candy bars (that won’t melt) and Earth can become our new sun. Because our current sun gives me a sun tan. And I think a Earth Tan would pwn it.

If you actually think that the world is going to end by it being flooded by melting ice caps, you have reached a new level of insanity.
Humans can create bombs that take out whole cities, create electricity, build massive structure, like the great wall of china, and the pyramids, send a man to the moon, split the atom, and create something as ingenious as a computer.
So I’m pretty fucking sure that we won’t get wiped out by a bit of fucking ice melting. I lol@anyone who takes global warming seriously.
It may be something we have to be aware of, but if you loose any sleep over it, you’re a looser.

It will also dump millions of tons of freash water into the ocean, halting the Gulf Stream current that keeps the waters around Europe warm, forceing the entire continent into an ice age. This fresh water will also warm the waters around the Americas, causing a huge increase in the amount of hurricanes and their force. Thousands of species of fish will become extinct due to the overflow of fresh water into their salt water enviorment. All marine life around Greenland will be destroyed. The entire continent of Greenland, including the Perma-Ice, which hasn’t melted in thousands of years, will be destroyed. All polar mammals, such as the Polar Bear and the Penguin will be extinct in all places except zoos.
So yeah. I take it seriously. Humans have created great things, yes. Which is exactly why we have the power to stop all these tragedy’s before they even occur. We won’t be wiped out by global warming, but thousands will die and billions will suffer the consequences.

The UK has been hit by major floods in the past month, and I heard that China(?) has recently been flooded.
It came into my house at 9 fucking inches. That’s not normal.

Global warming is real. There are too many factors to consider in figuring out the exact cause, but humans obviously play a role in speeding up the process.
Al Gore’s video kinda made me laugh. There were some good points and facts in it, but the scenes with Al looking all emo while he’s staring out a window or riding an escalator were just too funny.

I meant to say no global warming issue, as in, it’s not as serious as they make it out to be. And the only reason that anyone thinks that is because of the 132 donations that were made to television and media stations, 125 were from the liberal party, aka the party who supports the propaganda. It isn’t an issue YET but steps should be taken to lessen the effects of global warming, and it’ll never be done with assholes like Gore in office.
