So, anyway, Ron Paul has no chance of becoming president. I’m switching my vote to Mccain.
Obama and Clinton both suck.

Obviously. He was my top Republican Presidential Candidate, but he wasn’t mainstream enough compared to the likes of John McCain to get that far.
I’m still for Obama because he still seems like the least corrupt out of any of the candidates as I’ve stated already.

Idiots like you are the reason democracy doesn’t work. "Well if nobody is voting for Ron Paul, I’ll vote for someone that everybody else is voting for!" Choosing second best is as irrational as choosing your least favourite. You vote for who you want the most, not for who you like better between the big contenders. I believe the only reason he switched his vote to John McCain is because Ron Paul officially dropped out of the race.

I like Ron Paul from seeing that interview of him on the daily show where he was talking about getting rid of the IRS. Ron Paul and Obama seem like two good candidate choices.

You know where most of our money goes after the government gets it besides into building things? It goes into the monitoring of people in general, which is why everyone has a government record.
My friend suggested that we get rid of taxes as well. That would mean then nobody would have records or backgrounds. This in turn would not only mean that nobody would know who anybody is, but if there were people that went around committing crimes, you’d never be able to catch them. The same thing goes with hirring people for jobs. There’d be no way for you to do background checks on anybody, and people could end up hiring some fucked up person to do work in a largely crowded public place indirectly putting a shitload of people in danger.
Granted, I enjoyed Ron Paul because he was one of the most Liberal/Conservative candidates I’ve ever seen, he just wasn’t popular enough to gain the vote, which is why he dropped out.
