You must be thinking about the 9800 GX2, because I was talking about the GTX. And wikipedia never lies. Id know, I edited the article myself (Im kidding about that last part).

Both the 9800gtx and gx2 support SLi. The 9800gtx can do 3-way, and the 9800gx2 can do 4-way(2 cards)

But seriously, I was basing my point solely on these facts:
-Shit I heard on /g/
-The fact that its more logical to SLI two 8800gts’ than two 9800gtx’s.
