I believe Ron Paul wanted to get rid of everything that ties us in with what’s going on in the world and that he wanted to completely isolate our country. I know he wanted us to get out of the U.N. and N.A.T.O., but I just remember hearing that he wanted to get rid of the IRS altogether. What does he really want to do if I mistakenly have the incorrect information?

It’s not that he would just abolish the IRS, he was proposing a new tax policy that would no longer require the IRS and would save everybody a lot of trouble (filing taxes, dealing with IRS, etc).
And why don’t you want us to get out of the UN? We are a sovereign nation and answer to no one. We truly don’t need anyone elses support; It’s more that they need ours. I don’t want some fucker in France even having a say in American legislation. If I were elected, I’d peace the fuck out of the UN.

Ah. From the way it was being covered everywhere, it seemed like he was trying to make it disappear.

I agree with the sovereign nation that answers to no one part, but I think that even though they don’t need our help, we should help them if they need it. I mean we’ve done it so much before, I don’t see there’s really a point to just peace out of the U.N. and then just dick around with however many problems we have in our country.

Ron paul had some good ideals, but then again, so did Bill Clinton. He was elected, and only used his power to get some head action from a fat chick.

I don’t see a viable candidate at all. They all have big issues with their campaigns.
We need a "people" candidate, one who could bridge the gap between the parties and get done what has to get done instead of what will get him elected and popular for a bit until he gets down to his actual plan which will be his demise and undoing. (that goes for all of them)
I’m still thinking about it some more before making a final decision.
