When i work with any type of explosive or combustable i always want to know what im working with. Since some of you either don’t know where to get the info on napalm or are too lazy to look for it here it is. First the definition then the history, and finally the ways to make napalm like substances.

2.Napalm is a honey-like consistency and is flammable but not explosive. This means that, upon ignition, it will burn but NOT explode. Napalm’s chemical composition is 46% polystyrene, 33% gasoline, and 21% benzene. Gasoline is the primary flammable agent, polystyrene (syrofoam) is contained as a thickening agent, and benzene (which is a normally found in gasoline and makes it smell the way it does), is contained to keep the formulation in a homogeneous(uni gel state.
HISTORY-
I 1942 after research at Harvard University scientist found that a jelly gasoline like substance burnt slower and thus was far more effective. They found that mixing an aluminum soap powder of naphthene and palmitate (hence na-palm), also known as napthenic and palmitic acids, with gasoline produced a brownish sticky syrup that burned more slowly than raw gasoline. This new mixture of chemicals was widely used in the Second World War in flame throwers and fire bombs. Napalm bombs burned out 40% of the area of Japanese target cities in the World War.
RECIPES-
1 a mixture of benzene (21%), gasoline (33%), and polystyrene (46%). Benzene is a normal component of gasoline (about 2%). Now how to get these things. first benzene. But once again you should know what you’re working with.
What is Benzene and how is it used?
Benzene is a clear, colorless aromatic liquid. It is highly flammable. The greatest use of benzene is as a building block for making plastics, rubber, resins and synthetic fabrics like nylon and polyester. Other uses include: as a solvent in printing, paints, dry cleaning, etc.

don’t know where to get it from. I have read that it is in dish soap and laundry soap. personally i like to use dish soap.
Gasoline-
A hydrocarbon that has over a hundred ingreidents. It combusts very easly. If you don’t know where to get this you shouldn’t be making napalm. If you are cheap you should go to wal-mart and buy a siphon pump. It is located in the auto section next to the gas cans. Also you should buy at least a 1 gallon gas can. The siphon pump costs $2.97, $3.16 with 6.3 % tax. The one gallon gas can costs $1.93, $2.05 with 6.3% tax. If you are tight on money you can use an cleaned out 1 gallon milk jug. I have neer tried the milk jug so i don’t know if the gasoline will eat throught it. I highly doubt it tho. And if you buy both its $5.21 with tax. Now that you have your siphon and your gas container go up to someone’s car during the night. Make sure its a crappy one the good ones have locking gas caps and sometimes alarms. But not too crappy because the ghetto ones usually have little gas. Follow the instruction on the back of the package the siphon punp came in. If you are so poor you can’t buy a siphon pump i have seen people use cut hoses to get gas out. Put one side of the hose in the tank to where it goes to the bottom of the tank and put your mouth on it and blow in. Now very quickly pull the hose out and put it in the container. You must be fast or you will get gas all over or worse a bunch in your mouth.
Polys This is STYRofoam. Styrofoam is styrene with foam added. You can buy cups at the store. Get the small(8 fluid oz.) cups they have more styrofoam. Styrofoam cups cost $1.16 with tax.
Recipe- If you are making a 20 oz. bottle of napalm it should take 102 small(8 fluid oz.) syrofoam cups. I haven’t made any for a while. But add 2/3 gasoline to the amount of napalm you want. The styrofoam will take up 1/3 of the volume of the container. If you want to make a cup of styrofoam use 41 small(8 fluid oz.) styrofoam cups and 2/3 of a cup of gas.
Conversions
1 gallon = 4 quarts
1 quart = 2 pints
1 pint = 2 cups
1 gal = 128 fluid oz.
1 quart = 32 fluid oz.
1 pint = 16 fluid oz.
1 cup = 8 fluid oz.

These are simpler recipes.
1. gasoline : dish washing soap

I have tried this recipe it does work. Its alot less thick then the styrofoam recipe. Its more like the real napalm the army uses because the gas benzene in it and the soap has more benzene in it. I’m not sure if the soap actually has benzene. I have been told and have read that it does.

I just went and tried this formula for making napalm. I think it is the best one so far. It contains all of the 3 ingredients.
gasoline : Dish washing soap : Styrofoam
1 : 1 : 1
gasoline has small amounts of benzene. The dishwashing soap also contains benzene and the styrofoam contains styrene. Therefore it has all 3 ingredients that the gov’t uses in its napalm.
