This is an issue I've encountered many times over the years on RE, it's never been addressed.  I'm hoping with an active admin team it will now.

I, on a handful of occasions, have had to change my IP address to access the site.  Not as in an actual IP ban, but because otherwise I would get server errors when I attempt to load the site.  I don't think I'm alone in this, as I'm pretty sure I saw someone post a topic on it on RE3 recently, thinking they had been IP banned but being informed that they were not.

I've been unable to access the site for a day or so, assuming it was down due to the transition into RE4.  Then I tried accessing it on a proxy and it was there.  So I had to go into my router settings and change my MAC address just to access the site.

It's either an issue with my ISP or this site, and since it only happens on this site and there's a possibility of others being affected, I'm leaning toward it being the site.  I know dick about server configuration though, so I couldn't even fathom what the issue would be.  I just know it kind of discourages being active here when one has to jump through these kinds of hoops when this issue arises.
