There Are No Words...to Describe This Video.

Hey guys! I just wanted to drop by and post a video of the new band I'm in playing our first show together.

It's similar to my other "Progressive-Rock" band, except this band is entirely Instrumental Post-Rock (hence the name).

These are our first 2 songs; one has some Math-Rock influences, and the other is more straight-forward Third-Wave Post Rock. I'm the drummer (if people didn't know already). Also, check out my killer new drum-set I got a few months back!

Please leave any constructive criticism or feed-back you can offer. I would very much appreciate it. Post it everywhere you can across the Internet as well!

The only reason I posted it here was due to the fact that I figured this would be the way most people would see it as opposed to the "Music Forum".

Yup good move. This forum needs to be overflowing before I think anyone really bothers to frequent the other boards.

This sounds really cool.

I think the texture of the first one was a little too thick. And your cymbals are too loud. Maybe just the hats. Thats just beecause you asked for constructive criticism though.

 

The songs are awesome, they sound really well put together. I like the second one the most. Nice ambience when you get on the ride cymbal.

Thanks Debaser! That means a lot. I was hoping for more feed-back, but it's so dead, so I shouldn't be surprised. We were going to record "Ice Giants" as the first single, but we realized if everyone thought that was the best out of the two songs we have, it's better to release a song people haven't heard from that video, so I think we're releasing "Let Moss Grow Over Gargoyles" whenever we get that finished. We got recordings of everything for that song, as well as the drumming for "One Sword Keeps Another In The Sheath".
