It's not about that. I'm all for trying to encourage local shows and a community, but the problem is, not everyone lives in the area where you're promoting shows. If you're only going to share news on shows in your area, but not anywhere else, then what's the point? It's not a "nerdy campy mindset", it's just a logical thought. Settle down.
