So, I’ve Been in College for the Last Year.

Taking a 2 year computer technician program. (with optional 3rd year)
It's cool for the most part. The bread and butter of the course covers computer hardware, networking/routing (CISCO CCNA), Network OS (windows server shit), and Linux OS (lots of scripting this semester, server stuff and security next semester).

There's some other stuff thrown in there, like ethics and communications, just for GPA boosting I guess.

 

Seeing as I only have 2 weeks of school left till summer break this is a little late, but anyone particularly handy with bash scripting and/or windows server 2003, exchange and the like?
Maybe for next semester if I find myself in a pickle. Would have been nice to have a few pointers here and there, but I managed fine.


Yeah, not much else to say, this was more or less just an update/hello. But if you are a 1337 hax0r, don't be shy.

They are lurking . So when they come back they can say " yeah I used to lurk at RE back in the day when it was just TommyBoy, GMT, H-Dogg , wonderdog and that other guy" but no one knew I was there " .

Sounds neat Jimmy, but I'm shit with computers and can't help you.

 

And Tommy, I'm still here but have been reduced to "lurker" status. School and work is taking up a lot of my time. I do come here every day but whenever I try to post something the site logs me out. I have no idea why and I'm not even sure if this will post. But I am still around and I do miss some of you guys.

First, congratulations on picking a course of study that  will lead to a job that will, at the minimum, enable you to pay off the loan in a reasonable time.

Second, maybe we'd get more traffic if people had an easier time posting.  Firefox doesn't allow me to post at all; when I click the Submit thing, the site simply stops.  I have to use shitty Internet Explorer, which often closes and reopens when I log in and when I submit a post.  That, and I have to listen to that #%!@ing click cartoon sound effect with every mouse click.  I I wanted to hear cartoon sound effects, I'd watch the #%!@ing Qubo channel, OK?  So apparently I'm not the only one who has problems clickety-clicking and contributing to this site.

On the plus side, I like the ability to edit my eggstories and delete my own posts if they don't work.
