Has anyone heard this word mentioned in their daily life?

I know there are a multitude of meanings, but what do you take it for?

If you have never heard of it, what would you associate with it?.. go ahead, make up whatever  you want.
"ganked"
Can't think of anything atm, but it doesn't sound like it would be something good that's for sure.

Ganked: 'Tanked' on 'ganja'. Extremely high on marijuana.

It sounds stupid. That's for sure. Almost as bad as people using the word "swag".

Ugh I just typed this and it didn't show up.  This is an online gaming term. First time I seen it was years ago on Dota which is a warcraft 3 game. It basically means if you get jumped by your opponents. Like if you were running around the forest of a game and your opponents sneak attacked you and killed you. That's what ganked means.

The only time i've ever heard it use, someone was using it in the place of "Stolen"

So if I was to Gank it from you, I stole it from you.

Or if I got ganked, I got robbed.

What a dumb sounding word, lol
