Well, here it goes again. Another Paint.net egg.
You can download it if you dont already have it here:

Now then i am going to show you how to make some lite-brite pictures with any random picture.
You will need the gridmaker plugin for this to work, and that is located here:
http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2302
To install this go to:
C://ProgramFiles/Paint.net/Effects/ and put it there.
So find a picture with a solid background, i used a cucumber because it most closely resembles a penis and if i were to post a penis in lite-brite my egg might get dropped. Rotate / Zoom and zoom in on the image until almost three quarters of your canvas is filled with your picture.
Now go to Effects>Distort>Pixelate and put the number of lite-brite pegs you want to use. I did 5.
Now your picture should start looking something like this:
http://i325.photobucket.com/albums/k378/TOB3RT/ROTTENEGGS1.jpg
Now you want the background to be a dark color, black works really well. (No shit.)
It should look something kind of like this, except not as crappy.

Create a new layer.
Now make sure that your primary color is black, with secondary being transparent.Use the Grid Maker effect on the newly created layer. Brush width should be 3 and the grid should match the pixelation size. For me it was 5.
Now go to Effects>Blurs>Gaussian Blur then set it to 5.
Duplicate the grid layer then use the Merge Layer Down to combine them. This shuold make the blurred lines of the grid darker.
Use the sharpen tool Effects>Photo>Sharpen three times at 20 each time.
Use the Magic wand tool with the tolerance 0, then hold Ctrl+Shift and select any part of the picture.
Go to the layer with your main image and copy it.
Then create a new layer, go to properties, switch the blending to additive then paste the main picture you just copied.
Gaussian Blur the new layer with it set at 3 and now your done.
In bordeness i am also going to show you how to make fiery text.
Create a new image in paint.net and type anything you want to using a big, blocky font.
I used copperplate gothic bold with size at 48.
Now go to Effects>Blurs>Gaussian blur then blur it to where it is one eigth your point size. If you used 48 font size it would be 6.
Here is where it gets tricky. Go to Effects>Render>Clouds then set the cloud scale size at about double your font size. If you used 48, then it would be 96.
It should now start to look something like this:
http://i325.photobucket.com/albums/k378/TOB3RT/Rotteneggs3.jpg
Still tricky, but go to Adjustments>Levels then replace the output numbers with:
255 is now 128
1.00 is now 2.0
0 is now 0.
It now should look like:
http://i325.photobucket.com/albums/k378/TOB3RT/rottenegg4.jpg
Go back to Adjustments>Levels click reset, then under input change 255 to 210.
Flatten it by going to image and very bottom Flatten. It may or may not let you do this, because your image might already be flattened.
Go back to level adjustment, hit reset, then change input range to 255 and 96.
It should be alot darker and harder to see.
Open up curves adjustment Adjustments>Curves choose RGB under transfer map then uncheck the red and green checkboxes then add a control point for the blue.
Do the same for the green, as shown below.

I suck at doing both of these and every single person who tries these will probably be better.

These are also places for clearer directions.
Have Fun. :D
