“ Pharoah’s Finger ”

This will really make your friends jump. You\’ll find that you need a little bit of preperation required but it\’s worth it :)

Take an old matchbox and cut a slot in the cover and a hole in the drawer as shown.

Now hold the box like this as shown, and stick your index finger through the hole and into the box, and you can show a finger lying inside! Pack some cotton wool or tissue around the finger and dab a few drops or red ink around the edges to simulate blood.
Finish it off by decorating the outside of the box with Egyptian-style heiroglyphics.


Tell your friend or a stranger on the street that you dug up this little box in your garden and you think it must be an ancient relic, left over from an Ancient Egyptian tomb. Works best if you are IN Egypt, have BEEN to Egypt or went on holiday but your friend doesn\’t know where. It\’s more believable. Anyway, open the box to reveal the phantom finger. Tell him to stroke it 5 times for good luck. Wiggle your finger violently on the fifth stroke and enjoy!
