Hey guys. In this eggs I’ll show you how to make your old skate bearings spin like new again.

Equipment

1. Mineral Turpentine
2. A plastic container with lid.
3. Oil. (I used sewing machine oil)
4. Your bearings.

These are your supplies.







I used Reds bearings.

Ok. First off you get your plastic container. Get your bearings and put them in, then pour in the turps. Put in just enough so all the bearings are fully submerged.

Now. You can choose how long you want them in there for. I’d say the minimum time to keep them in there to get the grease and stuff out would be half an hour. I "marinated" mine for 4 days.

Ok now once you have left them sit for however long you must drain the container and get most of the turps off the bearings. This is why I used the Powerade bottle because you can undo the pop-top lid and squeeze the turps out without the bearings coming out. Then, you can simply shake the bottle with the bearings in it to drain out the excess liquid.

Once you have drained them go onto the final step. Your mum might have it at home. It’s sewing machine oil. It’s alot better than paying $7 AU for a little bottle of speed cream when you can pay $2 AU for a larger bottle that of sewing machine oil that works the same. I used Singer brand.



Put one drop in each bearing and they will be perfect and brand new again.
