I. Homework A. Notes
Some teachers neglect reading, its ironic even though they assian so much reading to their students. In this
example I will be useing my school\’s AP Euro Book. It is called: A History of Western Society Seventh
Edition. Now, I dont know how your teachers do their homework, but with all History classes at my school, they
assign their students to take notes on chapters, or pages. Now for the neglect. When books are in book stores, the
authors want you to buy their book. So they put a website on the back. In my example, college.hmca.com.
This is on the back of the book. Now when you go to this site, (Remember this is just for my book, check the backs
of your books for links, etc...) when you go here, you will a search bar. In my case, i type in the search bar
\" \" It will contain 100% complete chapter outlines. Flashcards, and a bunch of other
usefull stuff. I have to take notes on chapters everynight. My friends have to take notes for 45-60 minutes a
night, and they get B\’s on the notes. When i use the books site, I get A\’s on the notes and it takes me 10-15
minutes. This is because I believe the notes from the site, are 100% accurate and from the book itself.
I. Homework B. Distractions
One thing i have found very usefull, is when (If you teacher does this) your teacher walks desk to desk to check
homework, they sometimes will take a quick glance at it before stamping/checking-off/accepting, a way to avoid
having your teacher bare down and be a critique with your homework, is to ask them questions. Questiosn about next
class, or questions about the class descusion. If you find that not working, make up a story about something
exciting, i can be happy or sad. Tell him/her your dog died, your brother broke his leg. Somthing so they have to
process what you said. This will distract them. Try as much as you can to keep your hand on your paper, if they
need to see both sides, turn it over for them, avoid having them do it.
I. Homework C. Avoiding Turnins
I find that when turnins are do, besides taking a zero, or a 50% off the grade. Is come up with a ledgit excuse.
It has gotten be out of several assignments. Such as, injurys, or absents. You can quickly find a teachers
weakness, and exploit it. Such as, lets say you have to do a bunch of questiosn from a Science book. Tell your
teacher, that you were given the wrong version, and they will excuse you until you get the book. They have to
other wise it becomes a legal matter. Im not going to get into it but, it works.
II. Tests A. Pre-Tests
I cannot stress this enough. It is so awsome. Teachers are so neglegent. All computers are linked on a usally, a
(LAN) network. Now anyone, if your a computer geek, or not should know this. (Local Area Network) [BTW THIS IS NOT
A HACK]. A LAN will allow you to access a teacher from any other computer. Usally librarys are open. Open up MS
Word. Now this is were smarts kick in. Go to File>Open. Then go to the \"C\" Drive, and when you get their, you can
find your teachers computer. Teachers usally do their tests at school. They will also have answer keys and tests
in there. They are all .doc\’s becasue the teachers use MS Word. So their for you can easily print out the keys and
tests. Study the questions, have fun. Make sure if you print it at school, use a friend to get it when it comes
out of the printer, or quickly, but with out making a scene. Have fun!
II. Tests B. During the Test
During the test, usally we use binders, to avoid cheating, but remember, you know the test. No need to cheat off
others. Once you have analized the answers to the test, take the answers put them on a small piece off paper, and
roll it up, and put into a mechanical pencil. Have Fun!
III. In-Class A. Aviod Awkward Questions
Very simple, before class tell your teacher that you dont feel that you did well on the homework. Tell her/him you
didnt understand it. They will not what to make themselfs look stupid and that you didnt learn it. Just as much as
they dont want to be in a awkward situation they dont.
Have Fun!
