Using Your IPod as a Thermometer.
Step one
First, you’re going to have to run Diagnostics Mode.
To enter Diagnostics Mode, Reset your IPod by holding down Enter(The Center Button) and Menu at the same time, until the screen goes black, and you see the apple logo.
When you see the logo, hold down Enter and Rewind, until you enter diagnostics mode.
Step Two
Now scroll down to and go to:
IO>>HardDrive>>HDSpecs
Wait a second, and look down at temp, and it will tell you the temperature in degrees Celsius.
And believe it or not, it is fairly accurate, depending on where it’s been stored.
To exit Diagnostics mode, simply restart your IPod.

How to boost your IPod’s Volume
This trick is good if you regularly hook you IPod up to speakers, and want it louder.
Step One
Hook your IPod up to your Computer, and open up ITunes.
Select your Music, and select your whole library by pressing Control+A.
Right Click anywhere, and click Get Info. It might ask you if you want to change all multiple songs, click OK. Then, drag the volume adjustment bar to 100%, then hit OK.
Now you’re done! Eject your IPod, and enjoy.

[b]How to Categorize items in ITunes
This is helpful if you download a lot of audio books or TV shows, like I do, and you want to Put your Audio books or TV shows in the right Category.
I have David Sedaris’ ’Me Talk Pretty One Day’, and I want to put it with my other audio books, but right now it’s under my Music section.
First I’m gonna select everything with Control+A, then right, click, and select ’Get Info’, again.
Now, I’m going to scroll up and select Audio books.
Now, I’m done. Another thing you could do, if you’d rather just have it in your Music section, select all of it, right click, select get info, and check, ’Do not play in shuffle’.
This method also works for putting downloaded TV shows or music videos in the right category.
