Its been awhile since muffin posted an egg :)

This egg is for those of us who can, or will drive. All of this comes from experiences with polices officers after being pulled over.

Some of you may know of that silly rule thats says you must drive 6 months before you can drive anyone else. Dont even worry about that, cops REALLY do not care.

Before you even leave your driveway you should have some basic things to help you against getting caught in the first places

******Radar/Lazer Detectors********




Alot of people are highly opposed to laser detectors because in thier opinions they \"dont work\" but it has saved me sevral times, and theres no harm in having the extra protection.

I have this one, it works and its cheap, so it wont kill your wallet, but you hsould spend more depending on how many cops sit around in your area

This cobra model will work wonders, I personally have never used it but hey its all up to you.

Whatever area you live it, Im just going to use my area as an example. I try to keep a red sox hat in my back window or on my head, whatever team your area supports most, get a hat for it.

*****Bumper/Window stickers*****




Go out to just about any store that sells car bumper/window stickers. Get a USA flag if that floats your boat, or whatever you like, just dont go buy a friggin iraqi flag. Anything to do with the military will work.

So you were driving to fast or to irratically, ptttshh, it will happen, it always does.

Basic Rules

By doing these things youll impress the officer by showing you know the right way to handle this, it may surprise you but officers love it when people follow rules right down to it, they will feel respected thusly they will respect you in turn. Never think you to cool to do any of these things, doing all of this has saved me 3 times and my friends countless times.



1. Pull over immediatly, use your blinker to turn off the road, or highway, never try to get anywhere (like off the highway) they could mistake this for you trying to escape. Improbable but possible.

2. Turn on your emergency flashers right away.

3. Immediatly get out your lisence and registration, even before he comes to your window.




4.Make sure you window is rolled down already so he doesnt have to knock, and hand him / her your information

5.Keep your hands on the wheel so they dont feel a threat



6. Just wait for them to come back

7. Whatever happens let the cop drive away first and do not say anything bad because it wont help you.

Having a sports hat on, or a military window sticker, or a college sticker. It all seems dumb but think about this, lets say you LOVE the green bay packers, like absolutly love them. If you pull someone over with a GB bumper sticker are you going to ticket them, no. Same goes for the military stuff, if the cop was in the marines and you have a marines sticker he will find it hard to ticket you




Random Things to remember

1. If whoever pulls you over is a local cop refer to them as officer, if its a state troop refer to them as trooper, if you mess up a state trooper for an officer they get very angry.

2. If they Let you go shake thier hand, if they dont say thank you anyways, but in a nice way.

3.If you have a radar detector make sure you HIDE it someone that cannot be seen, they will think you always drive fast. hide it kids

4.If they ask you how fast you were driving just say \"I dont know officer\" because it you lie to them and say 80 when you were going 90 its alot worse, or if you say 90 it also looks bad, just say you dont know

5.The older the cop the better, they usually understand kids and experiences alot better, the younger ones are dicks, 100% of the time

6. THIS IS HIGHLY IMPORTANT, THE LAST 5 DAYS OF THE MONTH IS WHEN COPS PULL AS MANY PEOPLE OVER AS THEY CAN, NO MATTER WHAT DRIVE SLOW!!!!!! Sorry about the caps but it is nessacary


Alot of this stuff in common sense, but since most of you will be new drivers it will be helpful to keep this stuff in mind, no matter how stupid it sounds
