Hey guys, back again with another egg, this time \"How to Convert iPod video files without paying\"
This is a how-to guide to teach you how to convert an ipod\’s videos so it is compatable with your ipod (Apple sucks because they made it so you have to pay...But not now!)
First, you need:
A Video iPod (or an iPod Nano with iPod Linux on it so you can play videos(
A File Sharing Network. Ex. Limewire (what I use) etc.
An iPod video converter. (See steps below to learn where to get it)
Step 1. First, you need to download your files on Limewire. (I recommend you use this because I know this works.)
Step 2. When you go to your Library (After you download video file), click on the \"Explore\" tab (lower left). A folder will open up (Assuming you use Windows), and it should say \"Shared\" at the top tab.
Step 3. Minimize this folder, and click on your internet. You will need to go to the following website: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/jodixipodvideo.html (copy and paste it on your address bar.) When the website pulls up, you will need to click \"download\" and go through the download process.
Step 4. Once the converter is open, it should actually give directions on how to use it. Skip this process and go to your \"Shared\" folder we minimized earlier. Find the file you want to convert, and drag and drop the file onto the video converter screen. The file should show up, and then you click on \"Convert!\" button. This should take you to a settings screen and you will click on the resolution you want (the quality of the video) and then you will click \"Next\", and follow the rest of the process. Be sure to name your file so it will be easily located later. When it is done, go back to your \"Shared\" folder and look for your file again. This time, you will see two of the same file but one should be different from before (it should be quicktime instead of whatever you used before such as Windows Media Player.) When you find it, right click it, and select \"Open With\" tab, and click \"iTunes\". This should open it. All you have to do then, is update your iPod.
Good luck and vote fairly
Peace
